Lacy Gray

Lacy grew up in a small Kansas town where the biggest events were the yearly county fair and the wheat harvest. After college Lacy moved away from Kansas but is still a small town girl at heart, and has a deep love and respect for rural America and the people who live there. Married to her high school sweetheart for more than thirty years, Lacy considers she and her hubby some of the lucky few who have stood the test of time. She and her husband have one son and two beautiful grandchildren; a blond, blue eyed boy, and a raven haired, green eyed girl. To say she was head over heels smitten with her grandkids would be an understatement. Besides Food Forethought, Lacy now also does Washington Ag Today after Bob Hoff’s retirement in December 2011. She does still find time however to indulge her avid love of the outdoors through gardening, hiking, and of course taking in some of the most beautiful sunsets to be found anywhere right in here in the Pacific Northwest.
