 I’ve had several conversations with Dick Pool who is the owner of Pro-Troll Fishing Products out of California. Dick is a salmon scientist who has produced highly efficient lures that are designed specifically for salmon fishing. Listen in on his line up. “My company is Pro-Troll Fishing Products and we have been in business about 32 years. We primarily manufacture terminal year for salmon. All kinds of salmon. Salmon and trout. Ocean salmon, Chinook, Coho and so on, and those take big lures and bait holders and so on and big flashers. But the Kokanee market is a big market and we have an item called the Kokanee Killer. We make 2 sizes. One of the lures is one and a half inches and one is 2 inches long. We have 20 some finishes on each of the lures. It’s a plastic lure and it comes rigged with a leader and so on. A lot of people will troll it all by itself or a lot of people will cut it down shorter and troll it behind a small flasher or dodger. It works extremely well.
