Kinze Manufacturing is re-emerging in the mounted planter business with two new mounted planters for the spring 2013 season. Spokesperson Phil Jennings says there’s been a steady demand for mounted planters recently - and Kinze is excited to offer new innovations into this group with the 3110 Rigid model and 3140 Stack Fold Model. Jennings says both offer a variety of size and spacing options to farmers.“The 3110 rigid is going to incorporate 2 different sizes meaning a 6 row unit and an 8 row unit. Both of those will allow the farmer to choose from a 30 inch, a 36 inch, 38 inch and 40 inch spacings. The 3140 stack fold is a 12 row or a 16 row. In the 12 row size, you once again have choices for row spacing options ranging from 30 inch, 36 inch, 38 inch and 40 inch spacing. With the 16 row size it will come in a 30 inch row spacing only.
Kinze released a new sugarbeet planter. Jennings says the Kinze 3700 now comes in a 24-row, 22-inch model and will be available with bulk fill seed hoppers or conventional seed hoppers. Jennings says the planter is designed to help sugarbeet farmers maximize field efficiency
