This is Bob Larson with the Market Line Report for Thursday, December 14th. Corn demand ticks up a bit on the grain market Wednesday. From the floor of the CME in Chicago, here's Joe Vaclavik ...

Joe Vaclavik ... "The corn market was mostly higher here on Wednesday in kind of a quiet trade. We had a USDA report yesterday. USDA didn't really tell us a whole lot new about the corn market. They did make one change to the domestic balance sheets increasing their projections for corn usage via ethanol and that's something that a lot of people expected given record ethanol production during the last several weeks. So, not a whole lot from USDA. They didn't adjust their South American estimates production estimates. They left the U.S. production estimates unchanged from this past year. So, really just kind of kicking the can down the road here on a number of items."
