Rocky Mountain Horse Expo Follows the Colorado Agritourism Assn Conference

Yesterday we highlighted the Second Annual Colorado Agritourism Association Conference which will happen March 9th and 10th at the National Western Stock Show Complex in Denver.

Today we continue our conversation with Colorado Agritourism Association Board member Courtney Frazier about the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo which will follow on March 10th through 12th.

Frazier: "The combination of a consumer trade show — so there are several vendors that come to this and have a variety of products and services and opportunities at that trade show. There are also clinics that are held throughout that three-day period March 10-12th. So some very well-known nationally known clinicians will be at this event — Julie Goodnight and Cal Middleton — some names that are very well known in the equine community within the state. A really neat opportunity to connect with that industry and some of the professionals within that industry. And again there really is that connection that trade show pulls a lot of local folks to become involved — not only with the equine community — but with a lot of other offerings that the state has around us. We are going to have our own agritourism area within this trade show floor for folks to learn about opportunities in their own backyard."

Attendees of the Agritourism conference will receive a 50 percent discount on their booth at the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo. Frazier continues the exciting synergy of these two events.

Frazier: "Really the duel benefit of it — the educational opportunities on the 9th and 10th and then having this opportunity to promote your business on the 10th through the 12th."
