Then that same evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. the District 3 meeting will held in Sterling and District 1 and 2 will meeting for breakfast in Greeley at 7:30 to 9 a.m.

Colorado Corn Communications Director Eric Brown shares

Brown: "We make it a point to set up these meetings solely to get their feedback and give them updates on what we are doing as an organization — both with the one penny per bushel checkoff dollars that we put into research and market development on the Colorado Corn Administrative Committee side of things also with the Colorado Corn Growers Association dues paying membership organization that is also under our umbrella which focuses on policy. Just letting producers know how we are using those dollars and also get feedback on what they like to see us doing more of. In addition to things about the organization — also talkingFarm Bill. Getting input and feedback on the priorities of our producers on the next Farm Bill. To make sure we are relying their priorities as effectively as we can to our lawmakers in Washington D.C."

Meals will be provided at the meetings and all those who plan to attend one of these meetings is ask to RSVP. Also Brown requests that producers take a quick Farm Bill priority survey that can be found at coloradocorn.com that can be filled out.
