Patrick Kissel is an avid outdoorsman and fishing guide who definitely goes with the flow as he tells the story of meeting his girlfriend. "I met her in whitefish, Montana. Last year, she picked me up in her RV. She was going to Alaska. I said I'm going up there for the season so instead of flying, we decided to drive this 1986 RV of hers up to Alaska. I didn't know what I was getting into because I did not know her at all. It turned out to be an awesome trip, we spent about 12 days getting there. Met some awesome people along the way. She was working near a town that I was going to and we kept hanging out. One weekend we both had a couple of days so we decided to do this float that I got some info on. We were looking for kings. I had info that we were supposed to float it with a raft. It was bony shallow water. I knew I would have to drag a little bit but knew I could do it in one long day. It's up towards Fairbanks and the sun doesn't go down for a while at that time in June. Checked out the GPS. I grabbed a bicycle from a friend. Dropped her off and started a bicycle ride that was instead of 7 miles turned into about 15. I pedaled as fast as I could but to make a long story short we got put on pretty late.
