From the USDA News Office in Greeley here is Randy Hammerstrom with last week's state hay report.

Hammerstrom: "Compared to last week, all classes of hay traded steady on light demand. Wheat straw continues to trade steady on moderate demand, trade activity remains slow. Northeast Colorado areas alfalfa large squares premium $183 delivered $185; fair $115 to $125 delivered; utility at $75 and $85 delivered. Small squares supreme $10 per bale; utility $4.75 a bale. Striped grass small squares at $7 per bale. Wheat straw large squares good at $45 to $60. Southeast Colorado areas alfalfa large squares good $125; utility $80 to $90. San Luis Valley areas alfalfa large squares supreme $185. Southwest Colorado areas Timothy three-ties small squares premium $308 that is $10 a bale."
