Annual Colorado Fruit and Vegetable Growers Conference

Annual Colorado Fruit and Vegetable Growers Conference

The annual Conference for the Colorado Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association will be held on Feb. 17th in Denver. Executive Director Marilyn Wentz shares more details
Wentz: “We’re really excited about the Colorado Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association second annual conference. We are a pretty new organization just being founded in 2014. The annual meeting which will be part of the convention will be on Feb. 17th in Denver. It is at the Denver Renaissance Stapleton Hotel. I’ve worked with a lot of ag organizations — and I’ve never seen anyone chock this much information into a one single day but it is going to be a great day for allied industry members as well as our grower members.”
In addition, the conference will feature grower/buyer networking opportunities as well as resources for growers in the areas of labor, nutrition, business development and updates on current and future research. During the conference the CFVGA membership will participate in board of director elections and vote on other items of business.
Wentz says that it is important for members to register this week — Friday at the latest. For more information and to register, visit http://cfvga.org
The following day is the Governor’s Forum on Agriculture which will be happening at the same hotel.
