Colorado Cattlemen's Association Convention Will Be Here Soon

The Colorado Cattlemen’s Association Convention will be held next month in Colorado Springs. CCA Events and Operations Coordinator Sarah Smith shares more details
Smith: “Colorado Cattlemen’s Association upcoming annual Convention will be on June 13 through 15th at the Hotel Elegante in Colorado Springs. This marks the largest assembly of beef producers in the state. Normally we have between 500 and 600 attendees throughout the entire convention. We also have a trade show and we are planning between 40 and 50 trade show booths this year.”
The three day schedule will be filled with committee meetings, informative speakers as well as the opportunity to visit with ranchers you haven’t seen in a while. Smith continues with why CCA members should consider attending.
Smith: “CCA members should attend this convention because it is a good time to not only network with people in their region but throughout the state. Talk to fellow producers and speak to people you might not usually speak to. Also will get a good perspective of what is going on in the industry — not only in the state — but on the national level too. Get your ideas out there so they will hopefully be heard in Washington D.C.”
Registration deadline is May 20th — if you are interested in attending — go to coloradocattle.org and register online or you can call the CCA office as well.
