Reminder: Ninth Annual Marshal Frasier Beef Symposium

On February 21st at the Lincoln County Event Center in Hugo, the Colorado Livestock Association will be holding its 9th Annual Marshall Frasier Beef Symposium.

CLA Administrative Coordinator Kellee Mitchell shares more

Mitchell: "We have a full day of speakers. We have Dr. Keith Roehr, the State Veterinarian. We have the new CSU Beef Specialist Ryan Rhoades talking about grazing management. Of course CattleFax will be there. 'The Unknowing Smugglers' of Animal Disease that will be given by JoAnn Winks who is the Costoms and Border Protection at the DHI airport. Then we also have Dr. Nels Lindberg — with Production Animal Consultation that is going to do a talk about business is easy until you get people involved. As always we're going to have a safety meeting at the end of the presentation, 'Complacency and Safety in Agriculture' by BJ Schellenberg of Common Sense Safety."

She continues with how to register

Mitchell: "So I sure hope that everybody has an opportunity to come and see us. It is free but we do ask that you register online at coloradolivestock.org and so that we have a head count for lunch."
