CLA Annual Meeting and CO's Finest Celebration Happens April 5th-6th

During the first week in April the Colorado Livestock Association's Annual Meeting and Colorado's Finest Celebration will be held April 5th and 6th at the Embassy Suites in Loveland. The event begins on Wednesday evening as CLA Director of Communications Jessica Lemmel shares more details of the CO Finest Celebration.

Lemmel: "We will have a delicious meal — almost a five-star dining experience — for the attendees. Featuring all of the proteins that we represent including: beef, pork and lamb. So people will definitely being leaving full from that dinner. Following that we will have a Social at the Summit hosted by our Industry Partner Council members."

Then on the 6th the meeting will begin at 7 a.m. and is packed full with very informative presentations and speakers. She continues with more information about the panel of speakers

Lemmel: "Then our featured panel starts at 10 a.m. and the title of the panel is the First 77 days of the Trump Administration". The panelists are representatives of all of our national organizations for the species: Jackie Klippenstein from the Dairy Farmers of America, Colin Woodall from the National Cattlemen's Beef Association and Michael Formica from the National Pork Council. They will be talking about the big issues and how the Trump Administration has been handling them and what producers can expect things like TPP, trade and immigration."
