The USDA Farm Service Agency is reminding farmers, ranchers and other agricultural producers that county committee election ballots must be returned to their local FSA office by today, Dec. 4th. Producers who have not received their ballot should pick one up at their local FSA office.

Acting Administrator Steve Peterson:

"The deadline is December 4th for producers out in the county offices to vote for their representatives.”

Peterson urged all eligible farmers and ranchers, especially minorities and women, to get involved and make a real difference in their communities by voting in this year's elections."

Colorado (FSA) Acting State Executive Director, Jenny Peterson released a statement saying “Producers elected to these committees have always played a vital role in local agricultural decisions. She added it is a valued partnership that helps us better understand the needs of the farmers and ranchers we serve.”
