In the midst of low commodity prices and uncertain global trade, Colorado's agricultural impact from local to global level is the focus of the upcoming Governor's Forum on Colorado Agriculture.

The Colorado Agricultural Leadership Program will host the 27th annual Forum on Colorado Agriculture February 21st in Denver.

Executive Director Dani Traweek says this year's theme will bring together producers, consumers, experts, and other ag stakeholders.

Traweek says some thorny issues will also be addressed including agriculture workforce issues that many Colorado dairy farmers are facing along with ranching on federal lands in light of changing regulations and the emerging Hemp industry.
