BBQ Makes Colorado Proud in February

It's still winter but that's no reason to stay inside when you could get out and barbecue.

This month the Colorado Department of Agriculture is giving us a reason to slip on the mittens and fire up the grill for beef fajitas.

((This recipe for fiery fajitas is really quite unique in that it can used for multiple purposes. You can have them as regular fajitas or you can serve the beef and peppers on a bed of lettuce and have a salad.))

The agency's Wendi White says the cattle industry is Colorado's largest agricultural sector.

Colorado ranks 10th in the nation for cattle numbers, with 2.8 million head of cattle throughout the state.
