Marketline Report for Wednesday, October 17th
This is Bob Larson with the Market Line Report for Wednesday, Oct 17th. Corn took a hit in the grain market Tuesday. From the floor of the CME in Chicago, here's Terry Roggensack.ROGGENSACK ... "December corn, taking a beating today as the market pulls back on the weather, but is that really going to be a change in trend? We think, no. The China National Grain and Oil Information Center pegged their corn crop at 216.5-million tons. The USDA, just last week, 225-million tons. CONAB, or the official USDA down in Brazil, they pegged their corn crop at 89.7 and 91.1-million tons. USDA, 94.5."
