"If you've never been to a national FFA convention it is definitely something worth seeing."

The reviews from Colorado delegates and state officers following the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis are all good. Competitions business meetings and career fairs good music and visits by dignitaries kept the young people busy morning and night.

18 year old Maverick Jones of Roggin is the Colorado FFA State Treasurer. Networking for him and other youth ambassadors was high on the list as they prepare to go out into the real world.

He says he's looking at becoming a large animal veterinarian one day and studying at CSU.

But as treasure he along with other state officers will follow the national convention by travelling around the state speaking to their peers about FFA and the benefits it can bring.

The 91st National FFA Convention & Expo drew a record 69,944 attendees to Indianapolis, some 500 from Colorado.
