USDA has unveiled a new website that offers "news you can use" to young people interested in agriculture.

Across Colorado and the West agriculture producers are concerned about transitioning their lands and livelihoods to the next generation.

Torey Powell, USDA's Youth Programs Coordinator.

"The aging of our ag sector is definitely part of the conversation about our youth website and getting young people engaged in agriculture as a spark early on to get them perhaps owning and operating a farm. It's definitely a conversation built into this."

Powell says the website which can be found be searching usda/youth will evolve over time.

The site also highlights 4-H, the National FFA Organization, Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and information about internships, and information for teachers and schools.
