This is Bob Larson with the Market Line Report for Friday, Apr 12th. Focus in the corn market shifts to new plantings and weather in Thursday trading. From the floor of the CME in Chicago, here's Terry Roggensack.

ROGGENSACK ... "Probing for some type of a near-term low bearishness might be close to being already priced in the market. First factor for the market is a focus shift to new crop planting prospects and the weather. We've got some very wet Central and Eastern corn belt weather over the next week, a half to three inches. The delta looks very wet so the early planting stuff looks like it's really going to struggle here over the next week. We also have a wet forecast in the six to ten day up into the north and that could aggravate things with the cooler forecast as well."
