Some parts of the northern High Plains have seen temperatures dip into the high teens this week.

Cold temperatures are not good for development of the wheat crop. USDA meteorologist, Brad Rippey has been keeping an eye on the crop and says there could be more delays.

In Colorado, statewide, winter wheat condition was rated 76 percent good to excellent, compared to 49 percent rated good to excellent last year. That from the Mountain Region Field Office of the National Agricultural Statistics Service,
