With all of the hullabaloo these days over organic and GMO and what’s good for you and…what’s not, pesticides, herbicides, lawsuits concerning glyphosate, and the list goes on and on, we found a breath of fresh air out in Emmett, Idaho. It’s organic. That's what our organic looks like. Extra protein. The FDA has specific number of worms allowed in any given process. If you don't spray you get worms.

 

Cherry farmer Lance Phillips is reading a recent post on a social media platform about finding worms in cherries. He grows 20 million of the little red delights each year and happens to know a little bit about that. Oh my God. Fruit fly larvae that is sometimes found inside. “ Every plant is going to have a pest of some type or another. But with cherries, the fruit flies, the ones that lay the eggs in there. If you haven't done a couple of very basic things making a strong tree then some dormant oils which is most of them are organic sprayed your trees given them good nutrition proper watering a stronger tree's going to resist all kinds of natural pests.
