USPB Introduces New Marketing Staff

The United States Potato Board would like to introduce Kim Breshears, USPB Marketing Programs Director. Although she is new to the potato industry, Breshears is very familiar with marketing as she explains
Breshears: “My entire career has been focused in developing marketing programs for a wide variety of industries. Most recently I led the branding, marketing and communications effort for a $2 billion organization that focused primarily on marketing to small and medium sized businesses as well as trying to drive consumer usage of their product. My background includes both corporate and agency experience and I’ve been blessed to work in a lot of different industries.”
Her role at USPB is to oversee the development and implementation of marketing programs focused on retail, foodservice, ingredient uses and consumers for all potato products in the domestic and international markets. She shares her impressions of the industry and its people.
Breshears: “This is my first experience in produce and agriculture. I’ve learned so much. One of the things I’ve been struck by is how knowledgeable yet nice everybody is. Everybody has been so welcoming and willing to help me get under the hood — if you will — to understand the all the inner workings of the industry and I’ve just really appreciated that.”
