Summer Chip Committee Meeting

Summer Chip Committee Meeting

Potatoes USA Chip Committee Summer Meeting in conjunction with the National Potato Council Summer Meeting on July 12th in Park City, Utah. Potatoes USA Director of Research and Analysis Ryan Krabill shares what will be an exciting portion of the agenda
Krabill: “We are rolling out our new data management system which I think will please a lot of people. It’s going to be a data base that is going to be available 24-7 to growers, processors and breeders to go and look and see how varieties have been performing in the past and get as live a snapshot of the emerging varieties and promising varieties going forward. We will get to show that off a little. In addition to that we will look at the facts and figures for the program for the crop year. Look at fast track and mini-fast track and look at how some of the varieties perform and pick out the data management system as a way to illustrate the performance of some of the varieties.”
