Tax Reform for Farmers

Farmers and Ranchers are urging Congress to provide some kind of tax relief, and are not all that choosy about what kind of relief they are being offered.

Pat Wolff is with the American Farm Bureau and says any tax reform package will do...

Wolff says there is a lot of talk about lowering corporate tax rates, but says business structures vary for farms, most of which are not incorporated. Other possible changes include priority items for agriculture.

And it appears voters agree too... a nationwide poll shows, most voters also support tax changes that would benefit America's farm and ranch families.

The survey conducted by Morning Consult found that seven out of 10 voters agreed passing tax reform legislation should be a priority for Congress. More than half of voters polled also expressed support for specific tax reform provisions that would benefit farmers and ranchers.
