WAFLA is once again providing training for H-2A issues in your operation.
BRESLER: We've put this series together and they're taking place the first three Tuesdays of October that are a little bit more in detail than the norm of just using the program. There are different situations and things that occur to people that are using the H-2A program.
That's WAFLA's Kim Bresler who talks about the individual programs.
BRESLER: We're going to start off with managing workers comp claims specifically for H-2A. The foreign workers have to leave the country due to their visa restrictions and it's very, very important to keep the claim moving along. There's a special claims unit and procedures that need to be followed and we're going to tell you all about that.
That first session is coming up on Tuesday, October 7th. Again, these sessions are for WAFLA members with more information and registration available at www.wafla.org.
BRESLER: It is available to WAFLA members. It's free to current participants and it's $50 for current non-participants that are WAFLA members. You can register up until the day of October 7th before the webinar, probably about until 10:30.
Other sessions in the month will include Agency Inspections and Outreach and Anatomy of a Lawsuit.
