Sportsmen's Spotlight team members Tommy Allen and Matt Rice were doing business in the Midwest and when the day was through, they thought they'd go fishing. Here's Matt: "We had a few hours to kill. We stopped by the local farm and ranch store and bought a couple of little extender rods and a couple of doors and some hooks, a little bait. We talked to the guy there and he told us go down to Redwood Lake. We ran over to the gas station and grabbed some chips and a pop. We looked over and there were four old-timers sitting there and they said if you want to know where to go fishing, you should probably ask us. They said what are you trying to catch? We said we'd like to catch a couple of bass or whatever we are from out of town. The old boy in the back corner said I'll tell you what. You go down this road to Miles, take a right and there's to red gates. He said make sure you shut them because I've got a bull and some cows in there. There are two stock ponds full of bass. So we went down there and we couldn't stop catching them. We caught 50 to 75 fish in 2 1/2 hours. Just catch and release and one time I caught to fish in one cast.
