With today's Fruit Grower Report, I'm Bob Larson. "Washington Wine Month" is quickly drawing to a close, but not before the main event, Taste Washington at CenturyLink Field this weekend, and you're invited to the celebration!

Now in its 22nd year, Taste Washington promises to again be a food and wine lovers' wonderland, offering the most wine and food in one location.

Washington State Wine's Heather Bradshaw says this year is going to be bigger and better than ever...

BRADSHAW ... "The culmination of Taste Washington Wine Month is of course the Taste Washington event at the end of March. So, March 28th through 31st in Seattle, the 22nd annual Taste Washington Festival will feature more than 235 wineries, 65 restaurants and some of the nation's most talented chefs at a series of events throughout the weekend."

Bradshaw says the weekend-long celebration is a great way to promote our fantastic wine industry...

BRADSHAW ... "And of course, that culminates with the big Grand Tasting on Saturday and Sunday, March 30th and 31st, at CenturyLink Field."

And, she says Taste Washington is open to all the wine lovers out there ...

BRADSHAW ... "Yes, please! Anyone and everyone should come and check out Taste Washington. It's really the best place to get an exposure to a wide variety of wineries, 235 wineries under one roof."

So, get ready to drink and eat your wine-loving heart out, responsibly of course. For more on the state's largest wine event, go to the Taste Washington website at www.tastewashington.org
