The theme for the 2017 Animal Agriculture Alliance's Stakeholders Summit is "Connect to Protect Animal Ag: #ActionPlease2017." The meeting will be held again Kansas City this year and all events will be held at the InterContinental Plaza on May 3 & 4. Whatever your role in animal agriculture - farmer to association executive, government official to agriculture or food company leader – Alliance spokesperson Hannah Thompson Weeman says the Summit is your chance to join a united force committed to protecting animal agriculture and finding solutions to the challenges you face.

"The Alliance has worked for years to promote the role that meat, dairy and eggs play in a healthy, balanced diet through our Meat Matters campaign," said Kay Johnson Smith, Alliance president and CEO. "I personally highly enjoyed reading "The Big Fat Surprise" and following Nina as a prominent voice in challenging the claims frequently made by activist groups to disparage the consumption of animal products. I'm confident her message will be highly valuable to our Summit attendees and can't wait to hear from her."

Be sure to check the Alliance website for the most up-to-date Summit information. You can also follow the hashtag #AAA16 and #ActionPlease2017 for periodic updates about the event. For general questions about the Summit please contact summit@animalagalliance.org or call (703) 562-5160.
