12/26/05 Woman of the Year, Clausen

Connie Clausen is a high energy, outgoing mother of five but this potato farmer has a lot more interests than the spuds and the truck she drives during harvest. CLAUSEN "Hashed, mashed, French or fried, these are the best potatoes you'll ever try. I have always played the violin and music has really been an integral part of my life and I had the opportunity to join the Idaho Falls symphony. I really, really loved it and then I was able to join a local community civic group where we were able to help a lot with children with disabilities. It was great and this year I was elected as president-elect of the Women's Council of Realtors. I enjoy being a realtor almost as much as I enjoy being a farmer's wife." Connie Clausen of eastern Idaho, the Farm Bureau's District One Women of the Year. All this week you'll have a chance to hear from all five women honored in 2005.
