February bought abundant snow to Idaho's mountains and especially to the mid-elevations. February precipitation so far is 270% of average in the Boise and 350% of average in the Little Wood and Big Lost basins.

This has been the most prolific February in many many years. We went up to do a snow survey in Idaho city at Moores Creek and there was so much snow we could not get in. In Sun Valley they have more snow than in February than they have in history. They have been measuring at the ski area since 1936.
