USDA's Risk Management Agency (RMA) announced today the 2015 projected prices for winter and spring wheat, winter barley, and the Malting Barley Additional Value Price (winter type) for Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.

RMA also announced an additional value price for 2015 Malting Barley (winter type) under Option A at $0.80 per bushel. The additional value price for the spring malting type will be announced in early March 2015.

 

These prices are critical for producers who are evaluating their crop insurance coverage options. Sales closing date for fall planted barley with winter coverage and all wheat in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington is September 30. Producers should contact their local crop insurance agent for complete crop insurance details.
