Roundup Controversy

Zen Honeycutt, Director of Moms Across America has made a pretty strong claim saying that glyphosate has been found throughout the nation in our tap water, children’s urine, breast milk, in cereal, cotton products, beer, and wine and sheet claims this is all a result of the excessive use of Roundup on our food crops and in public areas. "when you connected with all the scientific studies that show, wow, it destroys gut bacteria and gut bacteria is where 70% of the immune system lies. So, when you are systematically destroying, especially a child’s immune system who are more susceptible, it doesn't take a scientific study to put two and two together and say wow, if we are destroying our child’s immune system, they are probably likely to have more illnesses. Then if you are destroying gut bacteria where tryptophan is stored, and without tryptophan you cannot make serotonin and without serotonin you cannot make melatonin. Serotonin is a hormone that regulates insulin. So then you start to wonder why there has been a quadrupling of teens that have diabetes in the last 10 years. Could this be connected to the fact that two thirds of the Roundup that has ever been used in the history of this country, two thirds of that has been used in the last 10 years. This is a chemical that is in the majority of our food.”

Okay that's one side of the story. 30 year licensed professional applicator, farmer, and ex-Idaho State Sen., Douglas Jones. “I'm not a chemistry expert but it ties up with a soil molecule and breaks down in sunlight.” Now it is up to you, the reader to decide.
