Agribusiness Update

On the business front Deere and Company entered into a joint venture with Hagie Manufacturing a company known for its sprayers by acquiring majority ownership. Equipment made by the joint venture will still carry the Hagie brand with sales and service for Hagie integrated into Deere’s distribution channel over the next 15 months. This joint venture allows John Deere to provide a broader range of sprayer options while integrating Deere’s precision technology into Hagie equipment line.

The outlook for landing a job in agriculture should be great. That according to AgCareers.com who just released it’s eight annual “Agribusiness Job Study. Ag careers.com reports the number of jobs posted on their website, AgCareers.com increased by 26% in 2015 to a record High of over 81,000 North American jobs.
