With your Land and Livestock Report on the Ag Information Network of the West, I'm Russell Nemetz.

Today finds me in sunny and hot Phoenix, Arizona the host city of the 2018 Cattle Industry Convention and NCBA Trade Show. With us is Marvin Kokes, the NCBA's Senior V.P. of Industry and Member Services. And Marvin the city of Phoenix really is getting ready to roll out the red carpet so to speak and have thousands of cattlemen and cattlewomen join us here January 31st thru February 2nd.

"The Cattle Industry Convention is the oldest and largest national convention for the cattle business. The 2018 convention will be the 121st annual convention. The convention and trade show create a unique, fun environment for cattle industry members to come together to network, create policy for the industry and to have some fun! If you're in the cattle business, then you need to be in Phoenix."

In addition to the informative sessions, educational workshops and great speakers, Marvin says the convention will also feature some world class entertainment.

""Here's Your Sign" you won't want to miss the 2018 Cowboy's Comedy Club. This star studded line up will kick off with Whose Line Is It Anyway stand outs Colin Mochrie and Brad Armstrong. The fun won't stop there- Bill Engvall, a founding member of the Blue Collar Comedy Club will headline the evening and is sure to deliver nonstop laughs and entertainment for the entire family!"
