Renovating your Barn
Nothing says farm more than a big red barn. Charming, an icon of rural America. But what if that fabled old barn has structural problems, roof leaks, no insulation when insulation is desirable. Is it time to move on? How do you determine whether to renovate an existing farm structure or build a new one? Dan Nyberg, training manager for Morton Buildings, offers some helpful guidelines. “A remodel can be the best option if the basic structure can effectively accommodate your equipment for the foreseeable future.
