I met an extremely interesting guy over the phone by the name of Dr. Val Giddings, a Senior Analyst for Information Technology and Innovation Foundation in Washington DC I asked him about his job description and I think you'll agree with me it is pretty impressive. Take a listen. "I'm. We are dedicated to advancing policies and proposals that will help enable innovation because innovation is the foundation for economic growth and producing a tide that will lift all boats. That is our whole reason for being and I do ag tech related stuff for them. I am a senior analyst with a PhD in genetics with three decades of experience in this area. I get to work with ideas on the cutting edge of modern biology and agriculture." That said, I don't want to pussyfoot around. I have done a number of stories in the past on the subject of glyphosate where I interviewed Zen Honeycutt, the activist founder of Moms Across America. In a speech in Washington DC she said the following: "I understand that you want to believe these so-called safety studies that show that GMO's and glyphosate are not harmful but the fact is these are the same people who made DDT and PCB's and agent orange and who just want to make money. They simply have marketed in a way that made it very appealing to use."

Dr. Giddings response... "glyphosate is about as safe as it gets. It's less toxic than a teaspoon of table salt". To be continued.
