At the recent American Farm Bureau Federation's 100th Annual Convention, AFBF President Zippy Duvall, who was scheduled to have a sit down with President Trump, was asked how About his time with the president. "Unfortunately I didn't have any time with him because he arrived an hour and a half late. He came down the steps of the plane, shook my hand, then they ran him in, he spoke and he ran out." After that great start, Duvall was asked about how the president sees agriculture. "So far we have been very pleased by what he has promised and what he has delivered. We know some of the promises he has made have a long tail on them and it is going to take a while to work them out. He had a warm reception and so long as he does what he says he will do, I think things will be fine in farmland."
