Grains Ended Tuesday Mixed

I’m KayDee Gilkey with the Market Line Report for January 21, 2015.
Following the three-day weekend, Tuesday’s grains markets ended mixed both corn and wheat ended day higher, beans lower. From the floor of the CME Group, Greg Wagner shares his observations of Tuesday’s market.
Wagner: “The grain trade here at the CME Group following a three-day weekend, I guess you would have to look at the leader being the bean market to the downside. Corn market was higher and wheat market was higher. The big theme too — corn and wheat is whether you are going to shut off exports from the Black Sea Region. Particularly the Ukraine — there is a Russian Deputy Prime Minister say they may shut off exports — I say it is a no go.”
