I'm Matt Rice with the Market Line Report for October 7th. The grain market continues to climb, looking great as we come into Friday's USDA grain report. Todd Horwitz explains his thoughts, from the floor of the CME in Chicago.

Horwitz- "Tuesdays grains we saw higher prices across the board. We're seeing adding strengths, in fact that we have been looking for. I don't think it should be of any surprise that we are seeing higher prices. It looks like we are now running up to 4-4.10 in corn, probably $9 in soy beans, and wheat of course the evil step child continues to fly higher. Look for about 5.30 Nov. beans, corn, and wheat. As the overall picture looks, we've got big news coming out on Friday."

Chicago December Wheat ended last week up 10 3/4, at 526 1/4. December corn ended the day up 4 3/4, at 397 1/2. Portland prices for soft white wheat of ordinary protein for October, were up 9 1/2, at mostly 5-55 1/4. Hard Red Winter wheat with 11 ½ % protein, prices for October were up 13 3/4, at mostly 6-32 3/4. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for October were up 10, at mostly 6-68 3/4.
