This is Susan Allen with the Market Line Report for Thursday, Sept 22st. The US wheat market is having a positive outlook. Here is Jack Scoville with the news from the floor of the CME in Chicago. Scoville "." Chicago March Wheat prices closed yesterday up 2 1/4, at 428 ½. March corn ended the day down 3/4, at 349. Portland prices for soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Dec. ended the day up 1 ¾ to 2 3/4, ranging from 4-77 to 5-02 even. Hard Red Winter wheat with 11 ½ % protein, prices for Dec. were up 3 3/4, ranging from 5-07 to 5-37. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Dec. was up 3 1/2, ranging from 5-89 3/4 to 6-19 3/4. December Live Cattle were up $1.30, to finish the day at 108.25. Nov. Feeder cattle were up 82 cents, to close the day at 129.75. Nov. class III milk was dn 33 cents at 16-11.
