Big Crop Coming In

This is Tom Allen with the Market Line Report for the 26th. Markets were slow to move much at the close. Here is Virginia Mcgathey with her commentary coming from the floor of the CME in Chicago

Chicago May Wheat prices closed yesterday up 1 3/4, at 442 3/4. May corn ended the week up 1 at 366 ¼.

Portland prices for soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Feb. ended the week dn 6.50-12.25, ranging from 4.7800-4.8675. Hard Red Winter wheat with 11 ½ % protein, prices for Feb. were up 1.00, ranging from 5.0650-5.2150. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Feb. were dn 1.00, ranging from 6.2875-6.5175.

Feb. Live Cattle were dn $3/4, at 104.55. Jan. Feeder cattle were dn $.37 1/2, at 117.60. Dec. class III milk was up .08 cents at 15-21.
