This is Tom Allen with the Market Line Report for Jan. 18th. Grain markets are coming up a bit. Lets check in with Todd Horwitz from the floor of the CME to get a better understanding on the market. Horwitz "" Chicago markets, July wheat prices closed the day up 8 1/2, at 463 ¾. Chicago July Corn prices were up 7 1/2, to close the day at 379 3/4.Prices in Portland for Soft White Winter Wheat of ordinary protein for May were 4.4825-4.7025. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11.5 % protein, future prices for April were 5.3375-5.4875. DNS Wheat with 14 % protein, prices for April were 6.7875-6.8375.June Live Cattle closed the day up 50 at 108.27 1/2. April Feeder cattle were up $47 1/2, at 129.32 1/2. March class III milk was up 03 cents at 17-46.
