This is Matt Rice with the Market Line Report for March 13th. Live and Feeder Cattle holding steady over the week as prices rallied as Fridays market came to a close. Here's Greg Sanders as he covers the Weekly Cattle Update with the USDA.

Chicago markets, July wheat prices closed the day dn 3 ½, at 456. Chicago July Corn prices were dn 2 ½, to finish the day at 372 ¾. Prices in Portland for Soft White Winter Wheat of ordinary protein for Aug. NC were dn 3 ¾- Unch, ranging from 4-66 to 4-78. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11.5 % protein, future prices for Aug. NC were dn 6 ¼, ranging from 5-42 ½ to 5-57 ½. DNS Wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Aug. NC were dn ½, ranging from 6-67 ¼ to 6-72 ¼. Aug. Live Cattle finished the day up 65 cents, at 103.05. May Feeder cattle were up $1.70, at 125.87 ½. May class III milk was dn 29 cents at 15-74.
