This is Tom Allen with the Market Line Report for March 20th. The bulls are in control hitting a high in the livestock market due to climbing beef prices. Here is Greg Sanders with his weekly USDA Livestock Market Report.

Chicago markets, Sept. wheat prices closed the day up ¼, at 450 ½. Chicago Sept. Corn prices were up 2 ½, to finish the day at 382. Prices in Portland for Soft White Winter Wheat of ordinary protein for Aug. NC were up 1 ¼- Unch, ranging from 4-61 ¾ to 4-67. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11.5 % protein, future prices for Aug. NC were up 3 ¾, ranging from 5-39 ¾ to 5-54 ¾. DNS Wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Aug. NC were up 1, ranging from 6-75 ¼ to 6-80 ¼. Aug. Live Cattle finished the day up 52 ½ cents, at 105.20. May Feeder cattle were up 95 cents, at 130.30. May class III milk was up 29 cents at 15-39.
