This is Tom Allen with the Market Line Report for March 29th. Beef and Grains in the green all across the board as futures came to a close yesterday. Let's check in with Scott Shellady from the floor of the CME, as he explains the trends in the livestock Market. Shellady "Hi I'm Scott Shellady on the CME Group Floors in Chicago" Chicago markets, Sept. wheat prices closed the day up 3 3/4, at 452 1/2. Chicago Sept. Corn prices were up 2, to finish the day at 372 ½.Prices in Portland for Soft White Winter Wheat of ordinary protein for Aug. NC were, ranging from 4.5250-4.7200 . Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11.5 % protein, future prices for Aug. NC were, ranging from 5.1200-5.2700 . DNS Wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Aug. NC were, ranging from 6.6400-6.6900.Aug. Live Cattle finished the day up 35 cents, at 107.30. May Feeder cattle were up $27 1/2 cents, at 131.75. May class III milk was up 31 cents at 15-60.
