This is Bob Larson with the Market Line Report for Friday, March 16th. Cattle market does some backing up on Thursday. From the floor of the CME in Chicago, here's Larry Shover.

SHOVER ... "The live cattle market, a reversal from yesterday. A $2.70 range today. Yesterday, hitting northward of $1.24, hard to believe. Reverse today, off about a dollar. At the close it was slightly more than a dollar. News was really mixed across the board. I think the trade was very technical. Many people think yesterday's trade was about as technical as it got, but today was mixed. Wholesale markets, very, very mixed. Choice up about $1.06 at $225.17. Select, on the other hand, down .61 cents at $216.40."
