This is Matt Rice filling in for Bob Larson with the Market Line Report for Friday, Oct 25th. All eyes are on Brazil right now as they begin planting crops for the new year. Let's got to Virginia McGathey from the floor of the CME, as she explains more on the grain market.

Chicago Dec Wheat prices closed yesterday dn 12 ¼ at 486 ¼.

Dec Corn was dn 7 ¼ at 361 ¾.

Portland prices for soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Nov. ended the day dn 5-3 ranging from 6-10 to 6-17. Hard Red Winter wheat with 11 ½ % protein, prices for Nov. were dn 10 ½, ranging from 6-11 ½ to 6-26 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Nov. were dn 9, ranging from 6-59 ½ to 6-84 ½.

Live Cattle for Dec. were dn $1.27 ½ at 116.82 ½. Nov. Feeder cattle were dn $1.97 ½ to finish the day at 153.80. Nov. Class III milk was up .23 cents at 15.13.
