Wyatt Penfold I am the USPB

Today we will visit with Wyatt Penfold a fourth-generation potato grower from Driggs, Idaho. He grows certified seed potatoes as well as malting barley and Australian winter peas. He has served on the United State’s Potato Board for six years. He shares what motivated him to run for a position on the USPB.
Penfold: “To be able to see and have the opportunity to visit with potato growers from all across the United States as well as join in the conversation of how to better represent and increase the demand for potatoes throughout the United States as well as the world.”
He says what impresses him the most about the organization.
Penfold: “The best resource that the US Potato Board offers the potato industry is the staff of the Potato Board. Each one of the staff has such an expertise in all of their different areas. If you have a question about any one specific thing and you call a staff member, they will be able to answer your question or they will find the answer speedily and get things resolved for you.”
Penfold urges industry members if they have a question or concern to visit with a UPSB board member or staff person.
Penfold: “I am Wyatt Penfold and I AM the USPB!”
