Rude Drivers & Beef Prices plus Food Forethought. I'm Greg Martin with today's Northwest Report.

Beef prices have been hovering somewhere north of Mount Everest. In other words..they're high and according to Kansas State University economist, Glynn Tonsor says it may be a while before we see any relief.

TONSOR: There's a long biological lag from the time you hold back a female, put her into the breeding herd till you get a retail product is in excess of two years so it takes quite a while for a retail level supply impact to be observed. We have at least two more years of historically tight beef supplies.

Idaho has been singled out in a new poll as having the rudest drivers. The polls based on a survey of drivers by the website, insure.com. Idaho is followed by Washington DC and New York. Drivers in Oregon and Washington fared better at the bottom of the list. Oregon at number 46 and Washington at 43. But for Idaho it seems that people driving slowly is what created the rude behavior from those trying to get around them. I guess it all depends on your point of view. Speaking of which, the poll also asked people what other states they disliked drivers from and they ranked California and New York as the rudest.
