Oregon Cattlemen's Association Convention

Quickly approaching is the Oregon Cattlemen’s Association Annual Convention. As usually it promises to be an outstanding event filled with informative speakers and the gathering of old and new friends. OCA’s Executive Director Jerome Rosa shares more
Rosa: “Our convention is December 4 through the 6th at the Riverhouse in Bend. It is three days — and so it is our big event of the year. On Thursday we have our Beef Quality Assurance training and our Cattlemen’s College. And then on Friday we’ll have in the morning we will have our officer nominations and then a Twitter Bootcamp. Then after that is our committee meetings and Trade Show. On Saturday we will have PAC Board meeting, Stweardship Fund and more committee meetings during the day. At lunch will be the Steer-A-Year Luncheon and our Young Cattlemen’s presentation and silent auction. Then at 1:30 we will have our annual business meeting. Then we will be wrapping it up with our President’s Banquet in the evening. Followed by the Billy Dean conference. It’s going to be really good.”
That’s right — Billy Dean will be at the Convention for a rather intimate concert for 750 people. Dean has eight country albums and 11 top10 hits: including like Billy the Kid and Somewhere in My Broken Heart. If you haven’t yet registered, you can go to orcattle.com
